Appointment

On October 30th, Mom and Wanda came with me to my doctor's appointment. It was just a routine check-up along with the glucose test and protein test. They were both very excited about getting to hear the heartbeat, seeing the hospital, and meeting our doctor. The morning was crazy and stressful. We had to be at The Woman's Hospital by 8:00am to sign-in and drop off my urine sample. Then I had to go next door to the OGA clinic to chug the "dreaded" glucola, which ended up being an ok tasting fruit punch. Then we rushed up to our drs. appointment and then ran back down for the blood test part of the glucose test. It was lots of running around, but we made it everywhere in time...just barely. My mom and Wanda were rather impressed with how nice everyone at the clinic and the hospital were as well as the looks of Dr. Cone! When he walked out they both said how "nice looking" he was. Crazy old ladies!

We ended up getting very good news from the appointment. No gestational diabetes and no preeclampsia!
